Bloch Victorious at EPL Pro/Am and LAPT, Returns to Brazil

Andy Bloch will participate in the Epic Poker League (EPL) main event worth $20,000, after winning a seat at the tables through the Epic Poker League Pro/Am. He and 8 other players won their seats in the $1,500 satellite tournament that gives non-members of the EPL the chance to compete in the main event.

The EPL Pro/Am took place over three days, at the end of which, Bloch was the only lucky player from the initial field that consisted of 187 players. This allowed him to claim a seat at the EPL main event as well as $24,000 in winnings. Some of the other players who managed to secure a place in the main event were Dwyte Pilgrim, Chris DeMaci, Ben Palmer and Tony Gargano.

Of the nine players who secured seats at the event, only Dwyte Pilgrim missed out on an additional cash prize. The player who is currently ranked second is Ryan Schmidt. He is followed by Marina Baroco.
