Full Tilt Issues Rakeback Payments

Full Tilt has been having quite a hard time facilitating the payments for the US players who have been affected by the Black Friday incident. It has, as a result, received quite a lot of criticism from the players. But now the once-gigantic poker site has something to show for its promises. They are already taking the initial steps to facilitating the payouts, beginning with the players’ rakeback payments.

Full Tilt Taking Initial Steps

There has been a lot of speculation as to what would be paid back to the players and what would be “conveniently forgotten”. A lot of people feared that the rakeback payments would actually be one of those that they would never again see, but now Full Tilt has allayed those fears by placing the rakeback payments on the players’ accounts. The money, however, has not made it into anybody’s bank account yet. But it looks as if Full Tilt will smooth everything over first before doing the refunds, making everything simpler. They have also begun converting player rewards and tickets into cash. All this money has also made it into the players’ Full Tilt accounts. The conversion was complete as of May 22, so if you have an account at Full Tilt Poker, you should have been informed by now of the new developments. As such, players can see how much money they will eventually receive when Full Tilt does decide to begin giving out the refunds.

In Case of Normalcy

Full Tilt has also implemented some measures that would allow US players to return and still have a conveniently nice account. They have converted Iron man medals into Full Tilt points, with each medal giving you 50 points. They have also converted Academy credits to points, with one credit amounting to one point. They have also frozen Iron man and Black Card statuses of US players for the time being so that when they return, they’ll be able to enjoy the same privileges. The only thing that players are waiting for now are the actual bank transfers. It remains unknown whether Full Tilt will decide to use checks or wire transfer.

The updates have helped a bit, but people are still pretty anxious, and a lot are getting extremely frustrated with Full Tilt, especially since PokerStars has had little trouble processing their players’ refunds. Still, Full Tilt’s trying its best, and it really looks as if they’re getting there, so a little more patience wouldn’t really hurt.
