Poker Pros Network Launched on Cake Poker

This weekend marked the launching of the Poker Pros Network on the Cake Poker Network. The site is special in that it brings to life CEO Chuck Kidd’s vision, which is to create an arena where the average Joes gets to compete with the poker pros on a budget that they can afford. It’s a very exciting concept that will no doubt attract a lot of attention, especially since a lot of bragging rights come your way once you defeat a poker pro.

About Poker Pros Network

The premise of Poker Pros Network is simple. Basically, it allows normal people to get a shot at defeating the poker pros. There are a lot of people who think that they would win if they could just get a single shot at it, but have no way to prove it because pros play at a whole new level. In fact, at most poker sites, the only chance you have of playing against a pro is if you play at the nosebleed tables. Sadly, not everyone can afford such a luxury. At Poker Pros Network, though, people are finally given the chance to prove their words. Chuck Kidd said that they “make it easy to interact with the PPN pro players of your choice on your schedule and within your budget.” In fact, you can go over there right now and enjoy their $500 first time deposit bonus.

Which Poker Pros?

There are probably a lot of you who are wondering who exactly these pros are. PokerStars and Full Tilt pros are, of course, out of the question. Don’t despair, though, since several poker pros have signed with the said network, among them 6-time WSOP bracelet winner TJ Cloutier. There’s also Barbara Enright and Marsha Wagonner, both members of the Women’s Hall of Fame. Chris “Fox” Wallace and Jennifer “Jennicide” Leigh are also there, and several others. Poker Pros network has an assortment of online pros and brick and mortar ones, you just have to take your pick.

Poker Pros Network, or PPN, can be found at the Cake Poker Network. Its introduction is pretty timely since the Cake Poker Network suffered a bit of a setback when Doyle’s Room withdrew from the said network to move to Yatahay. On top of the fact that on the Cake Network you can play online poker using echecks to fund your account, they’re hoping that the PPN will bring back some much needed traffic. With its innovative features, though, lots of traffic is pretty much a given.
