Big Slick

Big Slick – Noun

Perhaps the most famous term in Holdem, Big Slick is the descriptor used to indicate you’re holding Ace King as your hole cards. This hand has achieved legendary status thanks to televised poker coverage as many All In showdowns are the result of a player holding Big Slick. The name comes from the fact it’s a “slippery” hand that can spin you out of control and out of a tournament or cash game if you overplay it.

Other names include Walking Back to Houston, Big Slick in a Suit (if they’re both the same suit), and Space Cowboy.

I was holding Big Slick but got crushed by this other dude holding Two Ladies when a third Queen spiked on the River.
