Full Tilt Poker adds Draw, Badugi and 10-Game Mix

Full Tilt Poker has undergone a major software upgrade today which has seen the addition of a number of new games including Draw Poker, Badugi, and a wild 10-Game Mix! The site has yet to release an announcement regarding the new games, but Facebook and Twitter have already been abuzz with the news. Shaun Deeb had this to say on his Facebook wall, “tho shalt remember November 4th for that day FTP got badugi draw games and the most amazing addition ever 10game mix”.

Traffic has already started picking up at these tables, and the play is wildly loose, especially in the Badugi and 2-7 Draw games. It will be interesting to see how long it takes Full Tilt poker players to work out the basics of these new variants –I just saw one player cap each street in Badugi drawing three cards each time!

Thus far the most well received games have been the 10-Game Mix, No Limit 5-Card-Draw, both 2-7Triple Draw varieties, and Badugi. Considering there has been no advertisement of the update the traffic numbers have to be encouraging.

The 10-Game Mix is the largest variety of games offered by any online poker room –surpassing PokerStars 8-Game Mix. Full Tilt Poker’s 10-Game Mix features a lineup of the following poker variants:

  • Limit Holdem
  • Limit 7-Card-Stud hi/lo
  • Pot Limit Omaha
  • Limit 2-7 Triple-Draw
  • Limit Razz
  • No Limit Holdem
  • Limit Omaha 8 or better
  • Limit 7-Card-Stud
  • No Limit 2-7 Single-Draw
  • Limit Badugi

This is sure to be a wild ride for poker players; I don’t even think Doyle Brunson is proficient in all of those games!

Full Tilt Poker also added a huge selection of Draw Poker games –some making their first ever appearance online. The Draw Poker additions on Full Tilt poker include the following:

  • Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple-Draw
  • No Limit 2-7 Triple-Draw
  • No Limit 2-7 Single-Draw
  • Fixed Limit 5-Card-Draw
  • Pot Limit 5-Card-Draw
  • No Limit 5-Card-Draw
  • Fixed Limit 5-Card-Triple-Draw
  • Fixed Limit Badugi

The additions push Full Tilt Poker past any other online poker site in terms of variety of different games offered, and should create some wild action as players try to learn and get a feel for the games. Games like 2-7 Single-Draw and 5-Card-Triple-Draw are widely unknown in the poker world.
