888poker has launched a new software client called Poker V6.7. The software comes with an array of attractive features.
Video Cash Games in Private Lounges
The new software client of 888poker, Poker V6.7, introduced poker lounges on the site. These will allow players to play cash games and tournaments with their friends. 888poker is the first ever poker room in the industry to offer video cash games. The site uses PokerCam technology for this feature. With this technology, players can bluff their friends and also catch glimpses of their expressions when playing cash games.
Knock-out Tournaments to Be Made Available to Players
Within the next two weeks, 888poker will make available knock-out tournaments to its players. In these tournaments, players have to eliminate each other. They can do so by placing bounties on the heads of their opponents. A player will be able to collect a bounty when he knocks out another player successfully.
The poker site has created a new icon on the lobby to signify Knock-Out tournaments. The ‘knock-out fee’ or the cost of the bounty is labeled by the buy-in for each tournament. The lobby also has a knock-out counter which will inform players about the number of participants who have been knocked out till date.
888poker Players Can Access Advanced Hand History Viewer
The hand-history viewer allows players to check the history of hands dealt so far. In the improved version introduced by the poker room, players can have access to all the previously dealt hands, along with a record revealing their hole cards, the hand number and the winning pot. The new software client has an advanced control panel which will allow players to switch between hands. The panel also provides options to choose the speed at which a player may want to play a hand.
Copper Level Introduced Between Chrome and Bronze VIP Status
The latest software client of 888poker introduced a new level in the VIP tier system of the poker room. Previously, from the status of Chrome VIP, players had to move straight to Bronze VIP, which required a big jump. Now, the poker room has a Copper level to fill the gap between these two levels. To achieve the copper status, players will have to earn 50 points on a monthly basis.
