Carbon Poker is running a promotion called Tourney King, through which it allows players to claim several benefits. A royal throne and a crown are two of the top prizes. Tournament results of each player are monitored by Carbon Poker. Based on this, points are rewarded. According to the performance of players, both Low Limit and High Limit Leaderboard points will be determined. About the Promotion
Two leaderboards run simultaneously at Carbon Poker – High Limit Leaderboard and Low Limit Leaderboard. The tournaments, which have buy-ins ranging between $0 and $19.99, feature in the Low Limit Leaderboard. On the other hand, the High Limit Leaderboard, records the positions held by players based on their performance in tournaments with buy-ins of $20 or more. Each leaderboard runs a separate Grand Final Tournament. The winners of these finals will win accolades, cash and the title, ‘Tourney King’ of Carbon’ in their respective leader-board tournaments.
To qualify for the grand final of either of the leaderboards, players have to finish in the first 250 places. Finalists will receive a chip stack in accordance with the number of points they accumulate over a month.
Rewards Offered by the Tourney King Promotion
$20,000 will be added to the accounts of winners instantly. The poker room has not declared any play-through requirement on the win amount. Winners will also receive a Tourney King title.
High Limit Leaderboard
Based on the positions achieved by players on the High Limit Leaderboard, Carbon Poker offers cash rewards. The first position fetches players an attractive prize of, $3000. The player in the second position receives $1,800 cash, while the third can grab $1,200. Those occupying positions between 6 and 15 on the leaderboard, are entitled to receive a cash prize of $100 along with a $50k entry coupon. Between 16th and 30th positions, players are rewarded with a $60 satellite coupon and a 50k entry.
Low Limit Leaderboard
The set of prizes offered on the Low Limit Leaderboard are different from High Limit Leaderboard. The 1st position fetches a cash prize of $1,500. Players in the second and third positions are rewarded with $900 and $600 respectively. In case of the Low Limit Leaderboard, players between 6th and 5th positions are rewarded with a $60 satellite coupon along with a $50k entry. Those between 16th and 30th positions receive a 50k entry coupon.
The grand finals of both the High and Low Limit Leaderboards run on the second Sunday of every month at Carbon Poker. Players can avail an entry coupon to the tournament when the lobby displays it.
