Poker Players Alliance endorses 58 candidates for 2010 elections

PPAThe Poker Players Alliance has released a list of 58 Congressional candidates that their Political Action Committee will be endorsing in the upcoming elections. The list is bipartisan, and made up mostly of incumbents –only two of the candidates on the list are challengers.

A quick look at the list shows a number of these candidates are in hotly contested races, so it’s extremely important that you get out and vote on November 2nd: Key amongst these races is Michael Bennett (D-CO) who is in a tough race against Tea-Party candidate Ken Buck in Colorado, and currently trails by a few percentage points in the polling –every vote counts!

The PPA has been very active in lobbying Congress this year, and we actually saw some headway made in repealing UIGEA legislation, and passing a comprehensive Online Poker bill, HR 2267. Even with passage of the bill in 2010 looking slim at this point, we have to keep electing officials who have our best interests. Below you will find a complete list of the 58 candidates endorsed by the PPA’s PokerPAC.
