Andreas “skjervoy” Torbergsen wins $1 million in 1 day

Andreas TorbergsenTaking advantage of the unknown high stakes player “Cadillac1944″ has become a favorite pastime for Norwegian poker pro Andreas “skjervoy” Torbergson. At the end of September “skjervoy’” was able to take on “Cadillac1944″ twice in the span of 24 hours at the high stakes poker tables on Full Tilt Poker; winning over $800k in their first meeting, and then besting “Cadillac194″ for over $400k in their second meeting!

Torbergson has been on a tear at the high stakes tables on Full Tilt Poker, up over $1.5 million since the beginning of September –which was his first real appearance at the nosebleeds, having only been a “dabbler” in the high stakes prior to this. For the year Torbergson is up over $2.5 million according to the high stakes tracking site highstakesdb.com.

Torbergson is a rising star in the poker world, both live and online. He got his start playing $1/$2 PLO, and in 2005 he decided to take his modest bankroll to Las Vegas, where he was able to turn it into a 7-figure nest-egg in very little time. His results haven’t gone unnoticed, and he has recently been signed by Full Tilt Poker, as well as the online poker training site Cardrunners as a PLO instructor in August.
