Season 7 of High Stakes Poker delayed

Season 7 of High Stakes Poker delayed
Taping for the popular GSN show High Stakes Poker was set to begin in November 2010 with episodes airing sometime in February 2011, but PokerKingBlog.com is reporting that taping will be delayed at least one month. The site claims it received an E-Mail from the public relations director at GSN which reads:

Hi there!

I wanted to give you a heads-up that GSN’s 7th Season of “High Stakes Poker” will be moving the production dates from November to DECEMBER 2010 in Las Vegas. I currently don’t have a firm line-up of players yet for this season, but rest assured that we’ll have another great cast of world-class players this year! The shoot location/times are still TBD, but they are coming for sure.

Thanks!

It’s unclear what the reason for the delay is, but perhaps other scheduling conflicts will keep some of the big names from participating. The show was scheduled to be taped from November 18th through the 20th, which would coincide with a number of poker tournaments in other locales, including the NAPT Los Angeles tournament, The LA Poker Open, and The US Poker Championship in Atlantic City. Not to mention the WPT Marrakech and EPT Barcelona starting shortly thereafter.
