Lionel Anton Leads Partouche Poker Tour Day 1A

The Partouche Poker Tour is the most prestigious poker event in France and has guaranteed a prize pool of 4 million Euros this year, 1 million of which will be given to the players. A great number of players have come to take part in France’s most prestigious poker event and have set their eyes on the guaranteed prize pool. Lionel Anton emerges as the chip leader by the end of the day with a pretty decent lead over the next player.

WPT Players Participate in the Partouche Poker Tour Day 1

A large number of players who have participated in the recently finished World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris have made their ways on to the Partouche Poker Tour Day 1 of this year. These players include WPT Grand Prix de Paris final table player Martin Jacobson, day 2 chip leader Franck Pepe, and 6-Max champion Joe Ebanks. The three players who have done well on the WPT seem to have exhausted their skills in the event as they were eliminated from the Partouche Poker Tour in its first day. At the end of the day, there were still a number of prominent faces left in the event including 2010 Partouche Poker Tour winner Vanessa Selbst on 22nd place in regards to chip count, Joe Cassidy at 13th, Arnaud Mattern at 14th, John Eames at 75th, and Max Lykov at 119th. In the end of the day, Lionel Anton who even arrived late at the event managed to rise up to the top to lead the rest of the players on to the next day.

Chip Count

Lionel Anton is on the lead with a total of 179,800 chips to be used on the next day as Julien Pavon sits on second with 162,800. Sam Chartier holds on strongly to his third rank in chip counting with 158,800 as Hassan Fares sits on fourth with 144,500. On fifth place is Alexandre Bonnin with a total of 140,200 chips in total. Willy Korchia is on sixth in chip holdings with a total of 128,700 chips, followed closely by Bernard Taillefer with 127,300 on seventh place. Rita Hairabedian is on the eighth rank with a total of 121,500 and closely on ninth is Roger Roses with 120,800 chips. Lastly, We have Ville Haavisto with a total of 119,000 chips for the next day.
