WCOOP Day 4 – Two Players Awarded Bracelets

The World Championship of Online Poker is the biggest series in the online poker world and US players have resorted to moving out of the country in order to participate in the prestigious event. It was an exciting day overall at the World Championship of Online Poker as two players were awarded bracelets. Andrei “extasyman” One won WCOOP’s ninth event, the $1000 No Limit Hold’Em Two-Day with a guaranteed prize pool of $600k. The second bracelet was won by during the WCOOP’s tenth event, the $250 Pot-Limit Omaha Knockout.

Texas Hold’Em Results

It was to no surprise that Andrei One was going to be the WCOOP event 9 winner, although PokerStar’s own Pat Pezzin did manage to get close to winning, but Andrei eventually cut him off from winning. Andrei “extasyman” One finished first with a nice $216,227 and the event 9 bracelet. On second place is player “Shafman” with $157,099 and Pat Pezzin ended up on third just behind player “Shafman” with $117,515. Player “777taxist777” comes in on fourth place with $87,827, with player “mitdadu” coming in right behind him on fifth with $61,850. On sixth place is player “G3RALDD” with a nice $49,480. Dean “dean23price” Price comes in on seventh with a decent $37,110. On eighth place is player Eri264 with $24,740. On ninth place is dadowiec with a decent $14,225 to take home.

Pot-Limit Omaha Results

Event 10 on the WCOOP started with Peter “Iteopepe88” Gelenscer on the lead and he had a pretty good lead against the rest of the players as well. Things however turned to a different direction by the end of the day as player “Olkku” who originally started at second place, was the one to take the first place ranking together with the medal for the 10th event in the WCOOP. Player “Olkku” managed to win $43.214 at first place together with the medal. One second place is player “kysah” $31, 775 with player “Totti500” sitting right behind kysah with $24,123 in his pockets. Peter Gelencser, who started out as the chip leader for the day ended up in fourth which lets him walk away with a nice $17,285. Player “mayday80” comes in on fifth with a good 12,582 in winnings. Following player “mayday80” closely is player “tram-vai” with $10,040 on sixth. On seventh place is player “Sutyi71” who managed to win $7,498. On eighth place is player “vivhost with $4,956. Lastly, player “amberland10” finished tenth with a decent $2,745.
