WCOOP Day 7: Events 19 and 20 Results

Although there were two events for the seventh day of the World Championship of Online Poker, it was still an exciting day as event 19 drew the attention of more than 11 thousand players in total. Event 19 has the smallest buy in compared to the other tournaments in the series.

Event 19 Results

The guaranteed prize for the 19th event of the WCOOP was originally $800k but due to the sheer number of people that amounted to a total of 11,741 who have participated in the event generated a staggering prize pool total of $1,174,100. Player “erickie” was crowned the champion of event 19 with a total winning of $163,324.15. This was possible as he won the biggest pot of the day which sky-rocketed him up to the top. On second place with an amount of $117,410 is player “dreeenie82”. Next on the final rankings is player “fan-fan04” from Hungary who sent player “BANTEX” out the door and winning $82,187. On fourth place is player “E.Viltseva” with a total of $58,705 who managed to take down player “Merk2517”. Player “daskalos20” is on fifth with a nice $46,964 to transfer on his bank account. On sixth place is player “maxover” with a total of $35,223. The seventh placer in the final results is “spel91” who has $23,482 to take home. Next on the list are players “Mer2517” with #11,741 and “BANTEX” with $7,396.83 on eighth and ninth place respectively.

Event 20 Results

The event 20 is the $200 Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of 100k. At the start of the event, player “Stjerneskud” had a major lead in chip count but things eventually came at a different turn for him as he was not able to get a superior hand against his opponent, “RiskStar”. Player “RiskStar” eventually amassed a huge amount of chips before the heads up play with player “lennie1987”. “RiskStar” then ended up as the event 20 winner with a total of $35,244. His heads up opponent “lennie1987” is on second with $25,454. On third place is player “gbeyond” with a good $18,992.60. Stjerneskud, who had the lead at the start of the day ended up in fourth place with $14,195.50. On fifth place is “PokerArtChee” with a good $9,868.32. Next on the list is player “NeoNH5” with $7,832 on sixth place. On seventh place of the event 20 is player “PycV” with $5,874. Players “ImaLucSac” and Kwiq manages to hold on to eighth and ninth with $3,916 and $2,349 respectively.
