Steve Gross Wins WCOOP $300 HORSE Event

Day 14 of the most prestigious series in online poker, the World Championship of Online Poker – Steve “gboro780” Gross from New Jersey wins the bracelet for the $300 HORSE event. It was an exciting day over all in the world of online poker as Gross had a good 100k-chip lead at the start of the day with 647,094 chips as the second in terms of chip count came with 539,768 chips. Gross Ultimately emerged as the victor with a total of $33,332.52 to add to his bank account.

Day 14

The excitement of the day started when a couple of players were eliminated from the tournament. Player “Kaas81” was waiting for an improvement from his 8, 5 which ultimately ended up with a pair of eights, as player “CACAFOGO” also failed to improve as his straight didn’t come through. It was player “playitsafe” who eventually took down both players with his straight and eventually went on with the lead in chip count. Later on, Kyle “KJulius10” Julius was then eliminated by Player “ViTaMin_F22’s”. Later on, player “bisbiki78” was also eliminated, but this time, by Steve Gross. Later on, Gross was able to take down another player, Alex “joiso” Kostritsyn. Now only three players remain, namely Gross, “playitsafe” and “ViTaMin_F22”. The next player to be eliminated was player “playitsafe” who had a good full house. Things however, did not go well as player “ViTaMin_F22” had a quad of Ace on him, which sent “playitsafe” to third place. It was then down to Gross and player “ViTaMin_F22”. Later on, during a razz match, Gross finally took down player “ViTaMin_F22” and emerged as the champion for the $300 HORSE event.

The Final Rankings

On First place is Steve “gboro780” Gross with a prize money of 433,332.52 and the bracelet from the event. On second is ViTaMin_F22 with a total of $24,378.75 to be added on his bank account. Player playitsafe manages to come in on third despite having the lead in chip count for a bit and won a total of $17,907.30. On fourth is Alex “jioso” Kostritsyn with a good $13,297.50 to be sent on to his account. Next on the list is player “bisbiki78” with a total of $8,865 in winnings. On sixth is Kyle Julius with a good $6,205.50 as his prize. Player CACAFOGO sits on seventh with $3,989.50 and Kaas81 is on eighth with $2,659.50.
