Poker in the Park to be Held in September

Now that the WSOP is almost over, it’s time to look forward to the other exciting events in the poker industry, such as “Poker in the Park”, Europe’s largest poker festival. The festival will be held on September 2 to 3. However, the event will no longer be held at Leicester Square, but will be transferred to Hanover Square.

What to Expect

This year’s Poker in the Park will be a huge improvement from what the festival used to be. For one thing, they’re going to erect a Main Stage where a whole array of musicians and comedians who will entertain the poker players as they celebrate the game. The Poker in the Park will also be the new venue for this year’s British Poker Awards. There are going to be some pretty big names attending the festival, so if you’re up for some stargazing, then you might want to visit Hanover Square this September. Furthermore, they’re going to add two more Poker Domes this year, so there will be three in total. These Poker Domes are where the sit-n-go’s are held round the clock. There’s also going to be a Poker in the Park Heads up Champion to be declared in the festival’s Heads Up Marquee.

An Opportunity to Learn

The best part, however, of the whole festival is the fact that there will be several seminars on poker held on the festival’s Poker Pro’s Lecture Marque. These seminars will be hosted by some of the top pros in the industry, such as Peter Eastgate, Liv Boeree, and Neil Channing. There’s also going to be a Live Tuition Marquee where some top pros will be giving their opinions and some tips on the hands played on the games. The best part about all this is that everything’s free. You can come to the festival and have the time of your life bonding with fellow poker enthusiasts. With all the entertainment in store for you, it’s surely going to be hugely enjoyable. However, they haven’t announced yet who the big personalities are going to be, but it’s sure to be big because the Poker in the Park Festival is one of the most celebrated poker events in all of Europe, plus with the added lure of the poker awards. If you’re in the area, be sure to mark your calendars on September because this is a great opportunity that you don’t want to miss.
