Not long after parting ways with Matt “mattg1983” Graham, Michael Binger, and Billy “Patrolman35” Kopp, UB Poker has now added a poker pro to their roster, Maria Ho. At UB Poker, Ho will join her partner in crime Tiffany Michelle –the two appeared on CBS’s Amazing Race together and can often be spotted out and about in each other’s company—as well as 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Joe Sebok, Adam “Roothlus” Levy, Brandon Cantu, Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire, Gary “debo34” Debernardi, Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, “Hollywood” Dave Stann, Mark “P0ker H0” Kroon, and musician/poker enthusiast Scott Ian.
Although her success at the poker tables is limited, Ho is a high profile player thanks to her personality which has helped her land numerous hosting jobs in the poker world, including working for wsop.com, ESPN360, and even appearing on news shows as a poker advocate.
In a press release from UB Poker Ho stated, “I am honored to be joining the ranks of top UB pros such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke. With the new direction and vision I know UB has for their future, this is an extremely exciting time to become a part of such an amazing team…” In her role with UB Poker she will be blogging, writing articles and posting videos in both English and Mandarin Chinese at UB.com –Ho is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She will also represent the company at numerous live poker tournament, the first being the upcoming PokerStars NAPT tournament in Los Angeles.
